Time flies when you're building a business. Photos By Kintz recently celebrated its 7th anniversary, an exciting milestone, since it seems like just yesterday that we were photographing our first jobs, and waiting tables to make ends meet. In PBK's early days, Bobby and I worked at Clyde's in Rockville on Tuesday nights, closing down the bar for weekly trivia.

It was there, amidst the late night crowd, that we met these two lovely people. Melody & Forrest were regulars, and we grew to know them and their group of friends over many a late night. 

Fast forward a few years, after we'd left the aprons and side-work behind us, and guess who contacts us about their wedding?! I love to see how each couple comes to find us, and connections like this are always extra special.

These two have an excellent sense of humor and a keen sense of style. When they asked us to photograph their engagement as an homage to Wes Anderson's films, we were beyond excited. Check out the results. 

But, it was this day, the wedding day, that we truly looked forward to. I knew that Melody and Forrest's dry wit and impeccable eye for design would make for an epic celebration. 

The big day did not disappoint. I was blown away by the attention to details, but also by the profound and genuine love that these two have for one another. What an honor to document this very Wes Anderson wedding!
