We are Kolleen & Bobby Kintz. We dreamt up this business as a young couple in love, committed to building a life outside of the box. Photos By Kintz was established in 2012 and over a decade later, we are living our dream come true.
We are dedicated to each other and our daughter, Olive. We strive to be present, kind, and live life to the fullest. We are here to connect with people, including the beloved folks who step in front of our cameras. What an honor to document humans and their dreams.

Where to find us?
Nestled in the Valley
We live in Waitsfield, Vermont. Kolleen’s family has been coming here since 1949! The Mad River Valley is sacred ground, and the place where we got married. We planted roots in this community during 2020 and feel so grateful to live here and photograph the beauty of the Valley.
Charm City Roots
We established this company in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area, where Kolleen grew up. We lived in Charm City for 6 years and still have many special connections to Baltimore, Maryland. We offer our services seasonally; check our home page to see when we’ll be there next.
Travel
We love exploring new places and meeting new people. We keep our travel fees affordable and quickly orient ourselves to our surroundings. PBK is always available to travel!
What turns us on?
Nature Nuts
Living in close proximity to nature fills our cup. Staying connected to the earth is vital to our well being and nature plays a huge role in our photography.
Music Maniacs
Listening to music is part of our daily routine. We love going to shows and photographing live music, and we often play music during photoshoots to inspire clients!
Movie Mavens
We met in Los Angeles, where we were both pursuing a career in film; and even worked on a web series together! Monday Movie Night is a weekly ritual.
Downhill Duo
We ski as much we can and love Mad River Glen most of all. Our daughter is a 4th generation MRG skier! We love taking our cameras on the slopes to capture the energy of the mountain.

Given a camera by his 5th grade teacher, Bobby bonded with the craft immediately. He formed the camera club in middle school and went on to do the photography for his high school yearbook. Bobby moved to Los Angeles in 2005, and began training and working as a sports photographer for Nick Kokotakis.

Young Kolleen, on the left
Earliest gigs dating back to diapers. She performed theater, music, and dance throughout high school, and continued in that field, earning her B.A. from Cal State LA. After training at Dell’Arte International, she became a professional clown. Her journey into photography began in 2011, shortly before marrying Bobby.
