Fort McNair Officers Club | Washington, D.C.

One of the perks of being a wedding photographer is all the cool places you get to go. I love the experience of seeing a new place, like when we go on a military base for a wedding. Many of our past brides and grooms have been servicemen and women, and this year Michelle and Shaugn took us on base at Fort McNair, to the Officers Club. 

Fort McNair is gorgeous with a rich history dating back to 1791! The grounds were sprawling and very green. 

I love this wedding's mix of tradition/formality and playful sense of humor. Michelle & Shaugn looked picture perfect for their epic portraits on base, complete with a white parasol. But, when it was reception time, they let loose and had a grand ole time. 

What a beautiful wedding day!
