Megan & Rich | May 26th, 2018

I love a wedding that's a true representation of who a couple is. This can look many different ways; what really matters is that you never compromise what you want your wedding to be just because it's "supposed" to look like something else.
Megan & Rich's top priorities seemed to be: fun, nature, and music. What a trifecta! It sounds an awful lot like what Bobby and I prioritized for our own Vermont wedding in 2012.
Looking back at Megan & Rich's big day makes me so happy. I think I knew it was special when we saw deer running through the field during their first look! The ceremony by the water was filled with touching moments, like when the bride and groom walked down the aisle together, hand in hand. Cheers to that!
The reception music was spectacular and provided by the groom's father and his band. Friends joined in, and eventually even Rich himself. He is a very talented musician, and his voice blew us away. A dead ringer for Louis Armstrong!
Families lounged by the Chesapeake and soaked up the sunshine while they played lawn games. Everyone was in a relaxed state, including the bride and groom. I find that so refreshing.
Congratulations you two!!!
