The sunlight is shining through the trees while Bobby and I wait to meet Angie and Michael. It's less than a month until our own one year wedding anniversary and love is in the air. This time next year these two will be husband and wife!
Born in Santiago, Chile, Angie's unique beauty is matched by her kindness. It's easy to see that Michael is crazy about her. He kisses his soon-to-be bride, who despite not being the biggest fan of PDA, blushes, grinning ear to ear as her future husband wraps his arms around her. I smile at Bobby....these two will have a lovely wedding!
Michael tells us the engagement story while Angie looks on adoringly. Amidst the busy flow of families at Glen Echo National Park the passersby give their nod of congratulations; it's evident that these two dreamers are celebrating their engagement.
And what a fun place to celebrate! We had a blast taking advantage of this historical landmark. Angie and Mike were ready to play and did they ever...
Probably the most notable feature of the park is the Dentzel Carousel. I get a chance to learn more about our future bride and groom waiting in line, while Bobby scopes out a spot for some photo ops! Both children of large families (Angie one of five and Michael one of nine) there should be no shortage of excitement on the wedding day. Most of Angie's family will be traveling in from Chile, while Michael's brother (and best man), will be traveling from Rome!
After what feels like the fastest carousel ride of all time (that thing can move!) Angie and Mike get their bearings and take a little twirl under the lights. I can't wait to see these two embark on the next chapter of their lives together.
Congratulations Angie and Michael! How lovely to know you both!
