Karen & Edwin's Wedding | October 17th, 2015
Old Hickory Golf Club | Woodbridge, VA
Karen and Edwin are all about great style and good times, not to mention an easy-going nature that we happen to love. These two charmed us right off the bat when we met for their engagement session at Glen Echo Park. Luckily, we did not have to wait long to spend more time with them.
The wedding day is beautiful and so is the decor. When Bobby and I arrive, Karen is putting the finishing touches on the candy table and the place settings. I love a DIY bride! We document their very romantic first look before traipsing around to some stunning locations on the golf course. Old Hickory is gracious (and naive) enough to let the wedding party each man their own golf cart. Luckily, nothing gets broken, most importantly our bride and groom.
The ceremony is tear-filled, and shortly after the cocktail hour, the wind picks up enough for a photo with the American flag waving in the background. It is such a special moment for these Veterans. From there the night only gets better: delicious food and an authentic mariachi band. This is our first wedding with a mariachi band, and let me tell you, it gets the party going. The dancing is spectacular, especially from our bride and groom, who really know how to move!
Here's to the new Mr. and Mrs.
Congratulations Karen & Edwin!
